Price of a KissPrice of a Kiss by Linda Kage
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars and more!!! Wow, just wow. Loved this book even though in a lot of ways the plot was so disturbing considering where and why Mason became what he was. My heart broke for him and I wanted to claw Mrs. Garrison's eyes out with the heal of her Christian Louboutin heels. Mason and Reese were so freaking cute together but at the same time OMG at freaking sexual frustration and buildup in this book! and then

~Mason Lowe~

Once these 2 connected it was like fireworks

Closing his eyes, he muttered something under his breath right before he sealed our mouths together. We both made a sound as our lips locked. He pulled back just enough to gaze at me. And then he went back for more.

It was everything I’d ever dreamed about and so much more. As his lips plundered persistently, I wrapped my arms around him and tipped my face up for more. Tethering me around the waist, he pulled us flush as his tongue stroked the roof of my mouth before tangling with mine

“Thank you,” he said. “I’ve always wondered what it felt like to make love.”

I turned my face to the side and saw his heart reflecting through the stained-glass windows of his gorgeous gray eyes. Realizing this was the first time I’d made love too, my lashes grew a little damp. Cupping his cheek where his five o’clock shadow prickled my palm, I murmured, “It is a million times better than that icky ol’ straight sex with no feelings involved, isn’t it? He teased my ear with his nose. “Fifty million times better.”

Another special part of this story was how gracefully and honest the situation with Mason's special needs sister was written. Linda Kage showed how it's human to maybe feel uncomfortable when first encountering a special needs child or person. It is not HUMAN though to treat them any less than just that HUMAN. Bravo ..Linda at this beautiful message in a heartwarming story. Sara really touched my heart and I laughed out loud and cried like a baby reading the wonderful moments when she graced us with her presence.

Finding West by June Gray

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another 5 star book will close out my weekend! June Gray is a freaking artist!!!! I loved this book from the bottom of my heart. West is the epitome of hot alpha with a dirty mouth who knows just what to say and do. Such sweetness too! This story was breathtaking.

Kat

For Kat, love and relationships are for the weak, and she is anything but.Until one cold night when she finds a stranger stumbling on the side of a dark road, a man who has lost his memory.

The Stranger

A past forgotten ..not even a name.

He saw her beauty when she was blind.

Passion undenied

Explosive chemistry...

He couldn't let her go. He didn't want his old life back.

A promise

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow, I don't even begin to know what to say about this book - totally different than what I've ever read before - but it kept me in it's grips the whole time. It truly made me think about my beliefs - and how they've grown or changed over time. The story took me on a journey, I never even expected at all - so glad I took the time to read it. Maybe our parents really were right some of the time.

There are no words to describe the journey this book took my soul on. I can tell you that I want to scream from the rooftops. READ THIS BOOK!!! I can't give any details, I can maybe give some insights. But to give anything away ..anything could possible rob of something so important. Take this journey..read this book from page 1 to the conclusion. NO matter WHAT you BELIEVE in LIFE...no matter what...this book will touch you somehow. If you don't feel immensely affected by the end... I don't think your human. I will feel this book for days, I'll think about this book for days, this book has been embedded into my psych and I would have it no other way. Hang on...you'll need to.

A story of love, loss and most of all faith. When you think you know and your almost sure you can predict the ending. That is when you will be thrown into a vortex of emotions and you'll have to complete this book to be able to breathe.

Friends make such innocent choices...such silly games. NO harm right?

Two Souls found each other....across time and space.

Savannah & Daniel

Nightly she watched and she waited....addicted to him.

One kiss felt down to her soul

When is love and lust enough to risk everything?

Review: Finding West

Finding West
Finding West by June Gray

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, loved this book-but just a warning it's a series, and kind of a cliffhanger. Kat is a loner living in Alaska, and finds a guy hurt walking along the road. He has amnesia, and she lets him stay with her. She has her reasons for being alone, and West wants to break through. Slowly she learns to trust, and slowly he learns the truth of who he is/was while they fall in love. A great story of finding love, heartbreak and who you really are. Can't wait for the second and final book!!!

A refreshing sweet sexy story about healing old scars, forgiving new pain and learning to love when you were never taught what love was to begin with.

Abbi

Abbi was broken....from a small child she was raised to believe she was dirty, bad and should be ashamed to just be herself. Then comes Dominic

Dominic is the true white knight who saves her from not only a bad guy but her bad life. He isn't perfect and he makes some mistakes but in the end you know she's gonna be safe with him while learning to just be herself. Sometimes you need a story that is just right for the heart. That is Courageous.

Thank you Ms. Foxx for the opportunity to read and review this book. It was my ultimate pleasure. I eagerly await the conclusion.

Definite 4.5 Stars

What a great, refreshing read - Abbi hasn't felt loved for the past 12 years, but she hasn't given up - she's trying to change and figure it all out. Dominic is so gentle and strong with her, but it isn't always easy for them - they both struggle with what is truly best for themselves and the other. A great story about first love.

Review: Vampire Mine

Vampire Mine
Vampire Mine by Aline Hunter

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

So I heartbroken to say this is a 3 stars for me. It was a 2.5 until the end. Ms. Hunter introduced us to a few more story lines that left me intrigued and gave me hope that the next book would meet my expectations. This book unfortunately did not. I felt there was way too much going on and nothing happened. Does that make sense? I mean a lot of drama, a lot of emotions, but in the end nothing really happened. Books 1 & 2 had a plot line where the characters were moving towards something..a climax or end point. But this story just kept talking about what might happen or what they were trying to avoid. It's very hard to explain because I am still very confused. The love story fell flat because there should have been more interactions with Trey and Sadie but there wasn't. I still love Aline Hunters writing and will read the next because I know that not every book will always hit the mark.

Infraction ARC read

Infraction (Breach, #2)Infraction by K.I. Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't know where to begin. Where Breach exploded in passion, anger, pain and betrayal. Infraction blossomed in acceptance, healing, forgiveness and love. Yes the passion was still there but the love built the foundation. These 2 broken souls found their way to each other through a storm of unrelenting forces. There were times I wanted to jump into this book and shake some sense into them. But, Ms. Lynn built this story from the nails to the shingles. We had to watch this mansion rise until the sun shined down on it's finished beauty. The rest will be the reward...and I can't wait.

“Can’t take it?” “Fuck no!” he exclaimed and stood, setting me on his desk and brushing piles of papers aside to lay me back. “Hold on.” My two favorite words. My hands grabbed the desk edge as he quickly slid all the way in. It was hard, fast, and dirty. Neither of us could deny the excitement that came with having sex in the office, the thrill of the possibility of getting caught.

Review: Tears of Tess

Tears of Tess
Tears of Tess by Pepper Winters

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

ARC provided from Pepper Winters for honest review.

3.5 stars.
I wanted to love this book. I wanted to be over the moon about this book. I could see this awesome story where this damaged guy changes for this damaged girl. Well, then I changed my mind. I just wanted this damaged guy to at least show some humanity ..and I waited and I waited. The whole time Tess was struggling with her "feelings" for Q I was going WhY? He's horrible there is nothing redeemable about him. Yes he showed some remorse but then took it back as soon as he could. I kept reading and my heart bled for Tess ..I hated Q with everything in me. But the romantic in me kept saying he is doing this because he is afraid to admit he cares and that if he admits he cares then he may not be able to control the "monster" inside. So, I had to take a step back and think outside the "sexual" box. I had realize these 2 people needed something dark from each other. They needed to hurt to feel good. The problem I have with this is normally there is something else in the moments in between. We never got to see that here. There was really only 2 scenes where they were just 2 people talking. One he was drunk and the other he was in pain from a migraine. I get Tess was unhappy in her current relationship. She wasn't fulfilled. But other than the sex she wanted from Q ...what else did he show her that would make her really want to be with him? I came to the conclusion after reading Q's POV in the epilogue that they saw in each other what they needed. I don't understand it but its not up to me because I'm not into SM..to that extreme. This book would hands down have gotten 5 stars from me if I could have seen something more emotional from Q to Tess..something that would make it seem he's not just a monster but a man. Yes the whole saving girls is fine. But when he admitted he wanted to hurt them...it just seemed like he was waiting for someone he could hurt. I wish I had more scenes of them talking or something to understand when she "fell" for him. Not just when she realized he could give her sex the way she wants it. Also one more thing. Other than him carrying her out and mumbling about I'm sorry..he never addressed the fact he let a man RAPE her with a KNIFE while he was in the room! Sickened me.

Review: Rock Chick Revolution

Rock Chick Revolution
Rock Chick Revolution by Kristen Ashley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***spoiler alert***
There definitely should be a way to give a book 10 Stars! Maybe that's not even enough. Having followed the Rock Chicks from Book 1 ..I felt I knew these characters like they were really friends of mine. Make fun if you want but if an author can make you feel like that..she's doing her job. Kristen Ashley puts the A in Alpha ..the R in Rock and the S in sex. But more then that she puts the HEA in Happy Ever After. I can't tell you because I'm still so high on emotions right now how much I truly loved this book, this series..this amazing freaking RIGHTEOUS ride. My favorite Rock Chick book ever. Why? Because of all the side stories that were included. So much more than just plain old running or fighting the bad guys or fighting and angry sex..OH but boy wasn't there some of that too? And the to top it off we find out on the last few pages that it really isn't over ..there's a new chapter and it's in LA with Mace & Stella and his security gang. More couples, more drama and more Righteousness coming our way!

I'll first in line to climb on the new ride. :)

Nathan was the most explosive passionate character I've read in a long time. I adored the beauty and the pain. So much emotion on every page. I wanted to soothe him and make it all better. The pain of his past built a shield around him but love pushed it down.

Review: From Rags

From Rags
From Rags by Suzanne Wright

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow - first let me say, ignore the cover of this book - doesn't even begin to do it justice. This was an incredible book - it really had a great story, lots of depth, and it didn't feel rushed at all. Jaxx is a strong, tough female charachter (with a bit of soft) and Connor is the strong, alpha, with a soft spot for her. They clash wonderfully - with humor and all. There are a lot of other charachters in the story that just make it one of the best books I think I've read.

OMG!! I can't believe I'm just reading this book now! The relationship between Lila and Nate is not normal to most, but for them it works, and they both need it.....and holy cow, it is HOT!!! Lots of dirty talk and sex, with a story of two people with painful pasts that break your heart. You can't help wanting them to make it... I'll be on edge until the next book is out. All time favorite for sure!
