Title: The Bitterroot Inn

Author: Devney Perry

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About The Bitterroot Inn:

Her past. His secrets. They have more in common than she knows.   Maisy is happily content with the life she’s built for herself and her young son in small-town Prescott, Montana. Her child is thriving, her business is growing, and her family is as close as they’ve ever been. But when a handsome stranger walks into the lobby of her motel, her simple life is swept up in a wave of affection for his gentle heart. None of those feelings can be trusted, though. She made that mistake before with another man. The man she murdered.   Hunter was a different man when he first saw Maisy Holt from afar. He took one look at her and ran in the opposite direction. But years later, he’s back in Montana and unable to keep his distance. He shouldn’t have tried to find her but he never was good at rejecting temptation. The promise of the good she could bring into his life is too hard to resist. Maybe if he can disguise the lies and hide the deceit, he can keep her from learning the truth. Because his only chance at a future with her is by burying his past.

This series has touched my heart and climbed right to the tip top of my favorites list. Devney Perry has a voice that resonates so deeply inside her vibrant characters. These people seem so real. Flawed human beings who just want to love and live. From the Coppersmith Farmhouse to this final installment at the Bitterroot Inn I found such simple beautiful and emotional romance. I can't pick favorites because each couple, each character, each child, each parent, each friend all settled deep into my soul as a special little piece of perfection.

Hunter swept Macy away and I fell right along with her. The absolute mystery and terrifying suspenseful angst had me so nervous I could not put this book down.
When the light bulb went off and all the pieces fell into place I had moments of sheer sadness, disappointment and in the end forgiveness and compassion. Not every choice that was made may have been handled in the right order but these people, Hunter, Macy and Coby had to go through everything just to find their happy. What a beautiful happy they found. I feel simply lucky, privileged and so glad I went along for the ride.

   FULL PACKAGE Excerpt:
I point to the curved wooden stand with a hook at the top. “This. Explain this.”
Josie sets her hands on her hips. “It’s a banana holder.”
I give her a stern look. “I can read. I don’t need to know what. I need to know why.” I poke the object on the shelf at Bed Bath & Beyond, otherwise known as the Nexus of Unnecessary Things. Pretty sure there’s some kind of vortex or force field right smack dab in the middle of this store attracting all the weird, bizarre, and odd home goods. “Why can’t they sit on the kitchen counter? Or, how about in a bowl?”
“Maybe the bananas just like to dangle?” she suggests. “Hang free and all?”
Smacking my forehead, I go along with it. “Aha. That makes perfect sense.”
“I’m here to help.” She tugs on my shirtsleeve. “But can we please get to the sheet aisle? You can’t sleep on a naked mattress.”
“That may be true, but I could definitely sleep naked on a mattress,” I offer, and she laughs as we navigate through another sardine-packed aisle in the mammoth store.
It’s one in the afternoon, and I just moved in this morning. That took all of two hours. Spending my twenties in med school and as a resident gave me very little time for the acquisition of things, so most of my possessions fit in a duffel bag. I have very little. Not even sheets for a queen-size bed. Ergo, I’m spending Saturday at Bed Bath & Beyond, which is a bit like wandering through a Buzzfeed post titled “Ten Things I’ll Never Use.”
More like five hundred. Wait. Make that five hundred and one, because I just spotted the new number one item on the list.
“That,” I say as I make a beeline for a shelf of crème brûlée torches. Grabbing a silvery one, I hold it up. “Please say we can have a housewarming party, and you’ll make crème brûlée, and I can stride all proud and awesome into the kitchen,” I say, puffing out my chest and deepening my voice. “And I can light it with a torch, and we’ll all ooh and ahh at the manly fire I made when I lit up a dessert.”
She arches an eyebrow. “A manly fire?”
I nod vigorously. “And then you’ll let the guests take turns punching me in the face for being a total douche for owning a crème brûlée torch.”
She narrows her eyes. “You actually want people to punch you?”
I’m deadly serious as I answer her. “If I ever own a crème brûlée torch, you have carte blanche to punch me, Josie. You really should.” I drop the torch on the shelf and take her hand, clasping it tightly in mine. “Promise me. From this day forward. Promise you’ll punch me if I ever own a crème brûlée torch, a rotating tie rack, or more than one kind of cheese grater. This is part of our roommate pact.”
She grips my hand tighter, her green eyes glowing with stark seriousness. “I solemnly swear to pummel you under all the aforementioned circumstances. As proof of our friendship and roommate solidarity.”
“You’re a saint,” I say, then wrap a hand around her head and tug her close for a quick kiss on her forehead.
And hello, sweet, sexy scent of Josie. What is this delicious smell? Is it . . . oh fuck me. Cherries. My God, she smells like cherries. Like the perfect summer fruit. Like the naughtiest fruit. And I’ve got to wonder if that cherry scent is her face lotion, her shampoo, or her body wash?
            Body wash.
My mind is adrift, and the word association begins. Because what goes with body wash but nudity?
Naked woman in the shower. Washing. Lathering. Soaping.
            Ah, hell.
Snap the fuck out it, Summers.

Cover Reveal :Just Say (Hell) No by Rosalind James

Just Say (Hell) No
Rosalind James
(Escape to New Zealand, #11)
Publication date: February 14th 2018
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Even a hard man needs a soft side.
Marko Sendoa isn’t a beach man. He’s not an Auckland man. He’s a hard man. Born Basque, raised in the heart of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, and bred on hard work, discipline, and getting the job done. It’s not easy for a rugby flanker to make it to age 32 at the top of his game, but he’s done it. Next year is the Rugby World Cup, and he’ll do whatever it takes to be on the field in the black jersey when the anthems are sung.
He doesn’t need a kitten.
He doesn’t need a pregnant cousin.
He definitely doesn’t need a too-short, distractingly curvy, totally unimpressed Maori barista and part-time pet portraitist who fills his house and his life with too much color, too much chaos, and too many secrets.
He’s getting them anyway.

Author Bio:
Rosalind James writes contemporary romance and romantic suspense published both by Montlake Romance and independently. Her stories are set in New Zealand, Idaho, California, New York . . . really, anyplace that seems cool. (Research trips, especially those involving lots of rugby, are a bonus.) Her books are available in ebook, paperback, and audio formats. Rosalind is a former marketing executive who spent several years in Australia and New Zealand, where she fell in love with the people, the landscape, and the culture of both countries. She attributes her rapid success to the fact that "Lots of people would like to escape to New Zealand! I know I did!"

Enjoy this love story between a fireman who has returned home from the military and the single mom he left down the street. Welcome to Wynne.

Blurb

My best laid plans had backfired. I’d thought by putting miles between myself and my first love that she’d be free to live whatever life she’d wanted, but when I came back from serving my country and Faith was raising her little girl alone, it was time to make new plans. In eight years, not a single day had passed when she wasn’t on my mind, and not a night went by when I didn’t miss her. She was fierce and stunning and didn’t need a man in her life, but when the time came—and she wanted one—the line would start behind me.
Like smoke, I’d let her slip through my fingers once, but I’d never forgive the man in the mirror if I let it happen again. She was the fire inside me that would never burn out.

What do you get when you mix a multi-millionaire, a mystery woman, explosive passion, and the perfect night? A brand new standalone romance from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely that will have you swooning and asking for more! Cover Photography by Rafa Catala with model Jorge Del Rio Romero.
Cover Design by Helen Williams.

About COME AS YOU ARE (Coming 4/16/2018):

I couldn’t have scripted a more perfect night.

For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I’m not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine—multimillionaire. But who’s counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met, who happens to like dancing, witty banter, and hot, passionate up-against-the-wall sex as much as I do.

There's no need for names or business cards. And that’s why I’m eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge…bank account.

Everything’s coming up aces. Until the next day when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash — a lot complicated.)

***

He's charming, brilliant, an incredible lover, and right now I want to stab fate in the eyeballs.

I've had one goal I've been working toward, and lo and behold, my mystery man is the very person who stands between me and my dream job. A job I desperately need since my hard-knock life has nothing in common with his star-kissed one.

But it’s time to put that fairytale night behind me, and focus on learning what makes him tick. Too bad it turns out his quirks are my quirks, and his love affair with New York matches mine.

And as we spend our days together, I discover something else that feels like a cruel twist of fate — I’m falling for this naughty prince charming, and that’s not an ending I can write to our story.

Blog Tour ~ Promo Post: Falling Under by Lisa Renee Jones

ABOUT
A new sexy standalone from Lisa Renee Jones…

Ex-special forces, Jacob King, is a man who keeps to himself, having learned the hard way that letting people close to you, trusting them, might just get you killed. A lesson he learned when members of his Special Ops team turned dirty, while others, men he considered friends, died. He made them pay. He made them hurt. He put them in jail. And so he doesn't trust anyone anymore. He keeps his women hot and fast, his friends few to none, and his clients through the elite Walker Security at a professional distance, but safe.

It works for him. Until it doesn't.

His newest job should be simple and cut and dry. Jewel Carpenter, the daughter of the CEO of Carpenter Enterprises, is receiving death threats. He's to protect her and find out who is issuing the treats.

Simple. Cut and Dry.

Until it's not.

Until the chemistry between he and Jewel is all about love, hate, and sex. But even as he fights the attraction to Jewel and discovers there is more to her than meets the eye, the real threat comes not from the threats she's receiving, but the connection she has to him. Because his past has come full circle, and those men he's made pay for their sins now want him to pay. And what better way than the woman in his bed?

EXCERPT
“Just to be clear,” he says, his voice low and rough. “I’m breaking every rule I own with you.
I don’t fuck women I’m protecting.”

“You could hand me over to someone else,” I suggest, “and it won’t matter.”

“Not a chance in hell,” he says, his hand sliding under my hair to cup my neck.
 “We’ll break the rules together.”

“I’m not sure I like how you do ‘together’.”

“I’ll make sure you do,” he promises, his lips slanting over mine, and this time he kisses me like he owns me,
like he wants to control me, and like I really am his, like I belong to him, and in this very moment,
 I can honestly say

I am. I want him, and I can’t get enough of him.

And how can it ever be enough when he’s this damn impossibly hot, and he’s such a damn good kisser.
The way he makes me want his mouth on every part of me and the way he makes me want
my mouth on every part of him. And so, there it is. I’m his, but I’m going to make damn sure he’s mine, too.
I kiss him back as passionately as he’s kissing me. I meet him stroke for stroke, arching into him, telling him
I am here and present, and I’m not even close to afraid of him or of this. He doesn’t get to control me.
He isn’t making me do this. I control me, and I choose him and this.

Arching into him, his shoulder holster and mine are in the way, and I want them gone.
I want him naked. Just to be certain that he knows that’s where I want this to go, my hand presses
between us and I stroke the hard line of his shaft. He groans low in his throat,
a sexy rough sound that tells me he gets the point. This isn’t his show.
It’s ours. It’s us together, or there is no show, with or without our clothes on.

His reaction is to tear his mouth from mine, his lips lingering there though, as if he wants to
kiss me again, and just when I would kiss him again, he leans away just enough to shrug out of his jacket.
I take one step backward, and do the same with my blazer. I reach down and pull off my boots
and he does the same. Next, we disconnect our shoulder holsters, and the truth is, it’s the first time
I’ve ever been with a man who is probably more armed than me.
That feels significant when it perhaps is not. He’s not a cop. He’s not that kind of career complication.
He’s a Green-fucking-Beret, and one hell of a hot one, for that matter.

He sets his weapon on the couch and snags my hand, walking me toward him and
taking my holster and weapon as he does. “Just making sure you don’t end up shooting me before
this is over,” he says, setting it with his before shackling my hip.

“I told you I’ll wait until after the orgasms.”

“Careful,” he says, a hint of a smile on his lips again. “I might hold that orgasm and you captive.”

“You can try,” I say, but my head isn’t in the game in this moment, and somehow my hand is on his face,
right by the almost smile, that seems to have complicated what should be sex, an escape,
a way to pull back the emotions that umbrella stirred in me.
That smile reminds me that Mr. Robot is his wall, his way to cope with death,
with whatever makes him protect Jesse Marks.

He captures my hand. “What are you thinking?”

“That you have on too many clothes,” I say, before I let this go someplace emotional,
somewhere that two people like us never want to go.

My hands press under his shirt, but he doesn’t immediately give me what I want.
He studies me for several beats and then kisses me hard and fast.
Too fast, but I get over it when he pulls his shirt off. He cups my face and kisses me,
his hand sliding up my shirt, his touch fire that has me helping him pull my shirt over my head.
Letting him drag me to him where he now sits on the couch.
I straddle him, my bra somehow gone by the time I’m there.
But my hands press to his shoulders, and I hold him at bay. “I will still arrest you if I need to,” I promise.
 “This doesn’t change that.”

“You aren’t going to arrest me any more than you hate me.”
He glances down at my chest, his gaze a hot caress as it rakes over my breasts, my nipples,
before his eyes meet mine. “Because you know I’m protecting you.”

I ignore the ache between my thighs. Or I try. “From what?
The slayer or the Jesse Marks damage patrol?”

His hand slides between my shoulder blades and he molds my chest to his.
“Do you really want to talk about Jesse Marks right now? Because if you ask me questions,
I’m going to ask you questions when I’d much rather be inside you, giving you as many reasons as
I can not to arrest me. But you pick. Conversation or fucking.”

“Both,” I say, because it’s the truth.
I want answers and I want the conversation my emotions are having in my head to shut up.
“Fucking first.” I push away from him and stand up, unbuttoning my pants, sliding them down my hips,
and he watches me with that unreadable, robot expression that is admittedly sexy as hell.
I press my lips to his and that’s all it takes.

We are crazy, hot, kissing, his hands on my breasts, my nipples, my neck. I can’t touch him enough.
I can’t feel him enough, can’t get close enough, and that’s new to me.
I don’t need anyone the way I feel I need this man. I don’t want to need anyone this much, but it’s too late.
At least, right here, right now, I do. He rolls us to our sides, facing one another,
the wide cushion of the couch more than holding us and the next kiss isn’t fast and frenzied.
It’s long, drugging, and somewhere in the midst of his tongue stroking my tongue,
I end up on my back with the heavy weight of him on top of me...

And sometimes you find yourself married to a stranger...
Alessia Valenti was having the worst day ever. Fired from her job. An eviction notice on her door. Her sister dragged her out to blow off some much-needed steam. Only she hadn’t planned on a stop at the wedding chapel with a hot hockey player.

Married Into Love can be read as a standalone. Each book in the Bachelorette Party series features a different couple.

EXCERPT
“I still can’t believe how fast all you guys fell for your women. You. Andrew. Jason.” I took a shot of vodka, and poured us both another one. “Not a single one of you were into the whole relationship thing at all, and then bam! You’ve got eyes for only one woman and a possessive streak a mile wide when it comes to her.”
Ryan took the vodka from me and gulped it down, shrugging his shoulders. “When you meet the one, you’ll know. Just don’t make the same mistake that I did with Tamara and let her get away from you.”
“That’s another thing all three of you have in common.” I chuckled and shook my head. “I’m not the kind of guy to fall head over heels for a woman at first sight like you guys did. But if hell froze over”—I paused to glare at Ryan as he burst into a fit of laughter—“and I get all riled up over some chick I barely know, I won’t make the same mistake you all did. No walking away from her, even if I think she belongs to someone else like Andrew did with Josie. No letting her run from me because she thinks I’m a douchebag who hits on a woman all night long, only to get up close and personal with some other chick while she’s in the bathroom, like what happened with Jason and Cee-Cee. And I sure as shit won’t let her sneak out on me the morning after like you did with Tamara. I’ll exhaust the hell out of her so leaving me is the last thing on her mind.”
We reversed roles, and it was Ryan who was glaring at my reminder of how he’d fucked up with Tamara and lost contact with her for months. Then he narrowed his eyes at me, and a smug grin tilted his lips. I shifted in my seat, uncomfortable with how pleased he suddenly looked.
“What?” I asked sharply, and the limo got quiet as Jason’s childhood friends stopped talking and turned to look at Ryan and me.
“Nothing.” His grin turned into a full-fledged, shit-eating grin.
“Bullshit, dude. What the fuck’s up with you? You went from being totally pissed at me to grinning like you know something I don’t. Don’t be a douche. Fill me in on the secret.”
“Karma, man. She’s a bitch,” he chuckled.
“You’re gonna have to do better than that,” I growled.
“That’s the second time I’ve heard you say that hell would have to freeze over for you to fall for a woman. And now you’ve paired it with bragging about how you’d handle it better than we all did.”
“Dude,” one of Jason’s friends drawled. “Talk about tempting fate. You’ve got to have brass balls to put shit like that out in the universe and think it’s not gonna come back to bite you in the ass.”
Hockey players tended to be a superstitious lot, but I hadn’t expected the wealthy, preppy guys Jason grew up with to believe in stuff like karma. Not that I grew up poor—my parents did very well for themselves, but they weren’t in the same league as Jason’s family and their closest friends.
“It is,” Ryan agreed. “And I’m going to enjoy every second of watching you squirm when it happens.”
