Release Day Blitz w/ Reviews : Surrendered ( She Who Dares #3) by L P Lovell

Title: Surrendered
Series: She Who Dares #3
Author: LP Lovell
 Release Date: December 29, 2014

I have spent my entire life fighting. Fighting for survival. Fighting my past. Fighting to keep anyone from getting to close. Until him. Theodore Ellis.

He’s my light in the darkness. The only person who makes me truly feel. My most unlikely of saviours. No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to fight him.

No matter how many blows I rain down on him, he remains, loyal and unmoving. I love him. I need him.

Theo is my vulnerability, the chink in my armour, but he is also my strength. I can’t fight him anymore.

The past only holds as much power as you allow it to. It’s time to tell my story. It’s time to bare my soul, and let Theo in to my dark world. It’s time to take back my power.

Love is a war. She who dares wins.

I’m ready to risk it all. I’m ready to surrender.

It’s time to take back my power.
Love is a war. She who dares wins.
I’m ready to risk it all. I’m ready to surrender.

Hot and sexy with depth
to the story and a different feel to Theo this time.
 He was without a doubt
a man in love...

Some funny lines that cracked me up in a very British manner!!

Packed with all the details we needed to tie up the loose ends of the story and give us a great HEA.

~ Loved Gary! ~
Gary is without doubt the most unruly dog I have ever met.
I had to all but pick him up and carry him to the park.
He is not fucking light!
You’d think I was trying to bloody kill him.

Just what I needed!

I couldn't be more pleased that
we're getting Hugo's story next!
He's been integral to Theo and Lilly's story
and yet we don't know much about him.
*Can't wait for RUINED*

Surrendered is the last installment in the “She Who Dares” series and the continuing love story of the perfectly dysfunctional couple, Theodore Ellis and Lilly Parker. Finally, all secrets are revealed and questions that left me dangling in suspense at the end of Conquered have been answered. Lilly is a master when it comes to harboring secrets that are the reason her life is one crazy rollercoaster ride.
I will not divulge any spoilers in regards to Lilly’s past and the reasons why she has hidden herself behind sky-high concrete walls. But, once discovering the ghosts in her closet, I realized Lilly was justified in guarding her heart. She is a fighter and a survivor. I felt her pain that was cause by one hell of a horrific past. When she finally opens herself up to Theo, who is more than pleased to accept the burden of her sorrows, Lilly underwent a great character transformation. Don’t get me wrong, she is still the stubborn and sassy independent woman I’ve come to adore. However, a softer, gentler side of Lilly blossoms. This changed allows her relationship with Theo to become solidified.

“You make me feel Theo, and I haven’t allowed myself to feel anything, good or bad for a long time. I just wanted to be numb. You terrify me, but you thrill me at the same time.”

Theo still remains the sexy billionaire, but no longer a playboy. He is totally committed to Lilly and she becomes the center of his world. **SWOON** He’s more mature, more compassionate and takes his role as Lilly’s protector very seriously. Whether his actions to secure Lilly’s safety are right or wrong, he has claimed her fully and proved beyond a doubt that he would move heaven and earth to keep her safe and happy. In the prior installments, Theo managed to majorly tick me off with his lack of maturity and his selfish indiscretions. Happy to say that he has redeemed himself in my eyes in Surrendered to fully become the strong man Lilly needs.

As far as the heat factor, Theo and Lilly are sizzling hot. Theo certainly knows how to satisfy his “Sugar” and set the sheets – or wherever they decide to screw - on fire.

“Two people who look like us can’t not f*ck sugar. It’s a fucking travesty to the human race.”

LP Lovell has a unique and descriptive writing style. It’s a perfect combination of sexy and witty. I liked seeing this story from both Lilly’s and Theo’s point of view. I really enjoyed this series and look forward to diving into her future works. Can’t wait to jump into Hugo’s world and really hope Harry gets the chance to tell his story.

LP Lovell is an Indie Author from Salisbury, England. She's known for her seriously laid back attitude, sick sense of humour and a general lack of brain to mouth filter. Fuelled by copious amounts of Diet Coke, she likes to create feisty female characters who bring men across the pages to their knees. If she’s not writing then LP can be found riding her horses, or walking her ever present writing companion; Tulula the dog.
