Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man she's ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he's always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible...but will it lead to a connection of the heart?
“C’mon. How have you been, really? What’s been going on with you?” he pushed. I frowned at him and he frowned right back. “Liz, please.”
I groaned in defeat. “All right, I suck.”
“Why do you suck?”
“So very many reasons.” I pushed my hair back from my face—no more hiding. “Pregnancy sucks. It’s natural, my ass. I finally stop throwing up, but I’m tired all the time. Giving up coffee was horrendous. None of my clothes fit right because of these stupid breasts, and they ache constantly. I have to pee like every thirty seconds, and then to top it off, I cry every time the Healthy Hound ad comes on. It’s ridiculous”
Little wrinkles appeared either side of his nose. “You cry at a dog food ad?”
“Yes. The puppies jump all over each other to get to their mother and it’s just so beautiful, with their cute little tails wagging and everything.”
He just stared at me.
“I know its psycho, Ben. Believe me, I’m well aware of this.”
“Hey, it’s fine.” He covered a smile with his hand. Too late, the bastard.
“You try dealing with all these hormones going apeshit. Crap. Apeshoot.”
“Apeshoot?”
“I’m trying not to swear,” I explained. “You want the first word our child comes out with to be something bad?”
“No. Gotcha.” The man was incredibly bad at hiding a grin. “No swearing.”

Going into this story I was ecstatic to hear it was about Ben the sexy
bearded bass player.
I also love pregnancy story lines. I was so happy
to see all the previous characters and had so many laugh out loud
moments with this crazy bunch. Ben and Lizzie had a rough hill to climb
though. I found Ben wasn't as take charge as I would have liked. He
really didn't give me the intensity or convince me that he really fell
hard for Lizzie. I kept reading though because Kylie gives us in depth
stories ..about more than just the couple. . how each individual comes
to terms with struggles and changes that need to be made. I loved that
Lizzie was strong and didn't let people push her around. She'd have done
this alone if she had to but her heart belonged to Ben and thankfully
he woke up to the fact his was hers all along too. Sexy times.. lots of
laughter and crazy antics still had me devouring this gem so totally it
deserves 4 solid stars.

Why…WHY does it have to end? Stage Dive is one of my favorite
rock-star reads and I hate – absolutely LOATHE the fact that Ben’s book marks
this series’ finale. Kylie Scott has the knack of writing the most delicious,
lighthearted romances that combines sizzling sexy bad-boy rockers, sassy chicks,
laugh out loud antics and steamy passionate moments which always leaves me
breathless. Reading Deep was
bittersweet because I’ll sincerely miss this loony crew, especially my man,
Mal. I’m a total Stage Dive fan-girl groupie.
Poor Lizzy.

Being Anne’s little sister and Mal’s sister-in-law, she
easily fell into this band’s family and caught sight of Ben…the sexy, bearded
bass player. After lusting and drooling over this bad ass for what seems like
forever, she finally gets her shot at one night of unbridled passion, the likes
of which were not only earth shattering, but also life altering – in a HUGE
way. However, their one time Vegas fling did not end so well, which left her
utterly crushed. All hopes of putting their tryst behind her is now
impossible...She’s knocked up.
Young, single, alone and preggers, Lizzy manages
to suck it up, lay out a new plan for her future, break the news to Ben
(Cue in major freak-out
- dude did not take the news so well)
and face the possibility that she will take on parenthood all
on her own.
Liz was a heroine that I could not help but admire. She’s
the master of sarcasm and I loved the back and forth banter between her and Ben
through their texts and phone conversations. She’s got attitude, but has a
sweet and gentle loving side. And it
goes without saying - Lizzy is patient, especially dealing with Ben and his
standoffish manner. I felt heartbroken at times because I
sensed her affections towards the likes of Ben were one sided and her character struggled. Between
raging pregnancy hormones, pent up horniness, meddling friends/family and a
less than enthusiastic baby daddy, Liz has her hands full, yet never lost her
sense of self and sense of humor. She is my favorite heroine of the series.
Oh Ben, seriously, I wanted to knee you in the nuts and
smack some sense into you.
I really wanted to love Ben from the start, but he pissed
me off…the big bearded relationship and commitment phobe jerk. Ugh! He flat-out
frustrated me with his aloof demeanor and being scared shitless of Lizzy's
situation. Yeah, he was sexy in a brooding panty melting way and his dirty talk
was hot, but he’s a bit too self absorbed. That didn’t give me the warm and
fuzzies towards his character. HOWEVER, when he FINALLY pulled his head out of
ass and dropped his guard, he was sweet, loving and affectionate. Near the
bitter end of the story, his gentle side broke through in the way he cared for
Liz, and the seductive rocker won me over. It wasn’t easy, with all the drama
he created, but I was so happy he was able to turn my feelings for his
character around. I walked away adoring Ben.
All in all, I enjoyed Deep
and truly sad to see these characters’ stories come to an end. I will miss
them, especially Mal’s crazy shenanigans. The ending was a bit too rushed for
me. Letting go of these characters was difficult enough; I wanted to savor each
and every one of them a little longer. Nonetheless, I absolutely love Scott’s
clever mix of sex and humor, which flowed throughout each one of her tales. Her
witty writing style places her high on my ‘must read’ authors list.

Stage Dive Series Reading Order
Lick (Book One)
Play (Book Two)
Lead (Book Three)
Kylie is a long time fan of erotic love stories and B-grade horror films. She demands a happy ending and if blood and carnage occur along the way then all the better. Based in Queensland, Australia with her two children and one delightful husband, she reads, writes and never dithers around on the internet.
Kylie is represented by Amy Tannenbaum at the Jane Rotrosen Agency, New York.
THANK YOU!
