Vinnie
can't believe when he sees Liv show up at his self-defense class. It's
been seven years since he last saw the girl who used to tutor him in
English and also stole his heart. He knows she's still upset about how
he just left her - but he thought he was doing the right thing, thinking
there was no way he was good enough for her.
Liv
really doesn't want to fall back into feeling something for Vinnie.
She knows he's a player - and she's not sure if she can trust him to not
leave her again. Vinnie is very convincing in his attempt at starting
things up again with her.

too much, too fast, and too intense, and it scares me. Scares the hell out of

Even
though they agree to give their relationship a try - Liv is keeping the
real reason she's doing the story on Vinnie to herself. She wants to
tell him the truth, she thinks she's doing the right thing and doesn't
want to hurt him. In the end, the truth is exposed and the fallout is
heartbreaking.
I
loved this story about Vinnie and Liv. I enjoyed seeing how they first
met back when they were in high school - and learning how that
relationship changed as they got to know each other. There were lots of
fun moments - I especially enjoyed the game of "bar forensics" that Liv
played with her best friend and then Vinnie. And Vinnie, well lets
just say - he is hot and sexy, with a caring heart. A beautiful story
of second chances in more way then one.
